In reply to the discussion: Why are people saying Cole Allen didn't fire his weapon? [View all]DFW

Local reporting says he discharged his shotgun, but not his handgun. I havent see any updates on that in tonights news broadcasts.
Any difference in the caliber and make from the standard SS issue would point to Allen having taken a shot, which even the most primitively outfitted police lab would confirm or deny within fifteen minutes. Examination of the slug would hardly have taken much longer, and the Trumpanzees would have been crowing it from the highest hilltop, calling up the heads of CBS News and Fox to make sure the story was the lead-off item for the next 24 hour news cycle.

What I have read is that Todd Blanche said the perp's shotgun was fired but the casing stayed inside the gun.

Shooter used a pump shotgun, didn't have time to cycle the next round, thus ejecting the first

confusing terminology. the 'shell casing' is the part that DOESN'T spew out of the barrel

Probably most people are saying that because they have seen other people say that.

According to Blanche they're having trouble locating the bullet(s) and may never find it!
