The fact that I get emails and texts from virtually EVERY candidate in EVERY state no matter how big or small the campaign is is a HUUUUUGE turn-off. Do they really expect everyone can afford to donate to campaigns that can do nothing for us locally?

I wish there was a box to check to state “I do not authorize you to share my contact info” with anyone. If they do, I’m blocking them for all time. Why the hell would they pester us peons for donations when they’re already taking them from billionaires?

Yes, I’ve probably done it to myself. Need to stop signing every petition that pisses me off because I’m sure that’s where a lot of this begging crap stems from. *sigh*
