I, too, am inundated with requests from races big and small from all over the country. I've decided that this year, I'm going to mainly give to races in my own state, where I know the issues and where the candidates stand on each. Of course, I'm looking only at the Democrats, but there are choices among them prior to the primaries. Also, my state could really do a major swing this year, and I want to support that. (What really bugs me, is when I get requests from candidates out of state before they have even won their primaries. I mean, I won't be contributing to anyone out of state until they are the actual candidate in their state or district.) I also have to dial back the overall amount I've contributed in the past. Sorry, that's the state of the economy....
