I'd put $$$ down on that bet. He's a vengeful, sadistic, psychopath who does everything out of spite.

However, I'd be more than happy to chip in some $$$$$ when they pass the hat at the next Mafia Meeting when they plan hits. So far we've seen three armatures. I vote for the professionals to do the job correctly.
