34. Where is that FDR level Senate going to come from?

Yesterday

Thats the inconvenient truth that gets ignored every time someone brings up FDR and LBJ. They had something no Democratic president has had since. They even had Republicans on board with a lot of those big policies. Until that can happen again, reality only allows for incrementalism. You don't have to be happy about it, I'm not. But you can't deny it either.
