As usual he telegraphs his intentions and he did that recently by explicitly saying that he would blame JD if the talks went badly. Now, on the day that the VP arrived for high level talks with Iran, trump takes to "lies social" and makes explicit threats against Iran leadership just as the talks are about to start.
The predictable result? According to MSNOW, the Iranians would not pose for a picture with JD and are delaying the start of the negotiations. JD is left standing there because his boss could not stop making threats even for the duration of the negotiations.
Trump, IMO is setting up his own VP to fail. Is JD too stupid to know this or too stupid to know what to do about it or both?
Rubio seems to be smart enough to try to melt into the furniture whenever he is forced to make an appearance. The dysfunction and chaos is not new. But the self-sabotage and infighting will sink this "deal", as bad as it is.
