My guess is Trump invested a great deal in trying to steal the 2020 election and it did not work (which is part of his obsession with it).

Elon Musk was sued by customers who said there was an algorithm installed in Tesla's to prematurely advance milage (warranty claims). If he had the audacity and technology to do this to his own customers, it is not much of a leap to believe he would do the same in the election (he had the results four hours before anyone else).

It is very hard to detect the electronic theft of an election in part due to the wild swings in voting behavior from election to election. The Republicans, or their partners, were very clumsy in the early days (machines that counted backwards, man in the middle schemes that were thwarted, etc). But they have progressively gotten better with each successive election.
