68. Carville is a Democratic "consultant" that has been working on campaigns since the 1980s.

He hit the big time working on Bill Clinton's campaigns and in that administration. He is the person that coined the slogan, "It's the economy stupid". That slogan is probably the only thing he has done that is still relevant today.

Carville is now just a old hack that pontificates on MSNow and his own pod cast. You could say he is a dinosaur that represents what is wrong with the Democratic party. He doesn't realize that the times and the base of the party have passed him by. I don't think he has any business defining who are the real Democrats.
