4. I had it happen to me, maybe 15 years ago.....

my car's in the garage, Sunday afternoon, I'm sitting in the kitchen talking to Dad, and out of the blue, car horn/alarm goes off. Puzzled, I reach for the key/fob, push the alarm button--nothing. It kept honking. I finally popped the hood, and found the fuse for the horn and pulled it out. Stopped it. I put the fuse back in, and no more honking.

I'll have to remember the key in the door lock trick. I have a different car now, and not sure I could find the fuses on it in a hurry.
