5. We were here in mid August in '68 on our honeymoon in a VW Westfalia camper bus...

No AC, no fan, and the low that night was 101 degrees according to the weather station at Circus Circus.

FYI, the Westfalia was a air cooled engine. They were notorious for having virtually no heat in low temperatures.

We left there the next morning headed to SLC. By the time we got to Cedar City (2.5 hours away) we were wrapped in blankets trying to stay warm.

Weather is a very fickle phenomenon!
