(11,437 posts)All for dietary reasons.
The goals:
1A. The holidays are almost over with.
1B. I have a neighbor that woke me up last year on New Year's (exactly at midnight) shooting off class 4 fireworks to ring in the New Year. I had to take care of an elderly client the next day. I couldn't get back to sleep at all because of this obnoxious creep.
2A. We have to deal with short days that lack daylight and limit physical activity.
2B. We have a few demeaning people here that don't understand why the holidays are an issue and don't understand why it's an issue with it being dark all the time in the winter months. I literally read that they're idiotic and insensitive solution is for people who can't see at night is to buy glasses.
Anyway, I know that we all go through rough times. I like to work out. It helps me both with my mental and physical well-being. I'm not sure if I can explain it but there's something about it that is an improvement and it feels good.
Whenever you're feeling this way try to get a workout in, no matter how brief it is. I try to space my workouts out through the day, this is easier for me on the weekends since it's my time off work.
Sending you healthy and positive vibes your way, Lucky.
