1. The first time I took my cats to the vet after I adopted them,

Holly hid under the bench, screaming bloody murder, and wouldn't come out, which, incidentally, is what she still does to this day (she's 15 now).

When the vet tech opened the door to come in, Martini took off running. She ran into the vet's private office, right past the office cat, came back out and ran all the way down the hall to the front desk with the vet tech and me in hot pursuit. The receptionist finally caught her and took her back to the exam room. These days, Martini just sits calmly in my lap.
