In her younger days, she never quite got the concept of the "indoor cat." Every time I opened the front door, she would dash out, no matter how hard I tried to block her. It became a game to her. I would run after her and try to catch her and oh boy! Now we're playing! She especially liked to run away from me, then stop, and as soon as I bent down to pick her up, she'd take off again. It was worse when she got out at night because she's completely black on top and I couldn't see her. I remember going through the neighbors' bushes with a flashlight looking for her several times.
