If other cats come back from the vet or if another cat is missing. My other cats went around looking for Kitty Jack after he went to the vet, never to return.
My barn cat Winnie hung around for a week after her bonded partner Vicky had to be put to sleep, then disappeared.
The funniest thing has been related by my friend, who raises Egyptian Maus. She says whenever one of her girls comes back from visiting a male to be bred, the other girls (there are 3) will all sniff her as if to ask, "Where have you been? Who with? Oooh! Tell us all about him!"
