Mine is set off if I accidentally brush my hand against the tip of my nose. It goes off sometimes when I blink my eye. Touching any part of the upper right quadrant of my face, even so gently it would barely be felt, sends me into agonies and makes me cry out in pain. At times I can't even brush my hair on the right side of my head.

I would never intentionally tap my face.
