I wish my allergies weren't so troublesome and I could go back to having a cat.
Re: IAMACON (nice moniker for them btw), I have never had any trouble returning things for a refund, if it is a returnable item, or getting the refund without even having to return it. (Your item would require return, probably.) Trying to talk to an actual human? That's a mystery I've never solved. Luckily I have about 8 Kohl's stores within reasonable distance - randomly pick a direction and throw a stone and you will hit one, or a CVS - and they take IAMACON returns. (I still buy from IAMACON because despite Bezos current evil streak, they are generally very, very good for what I need - and my reasonable local alternatives donate to Republicans too, while costing me more, and constantly discontinuing or not stocking my staples. Sorry Amazon haters, I have to pick one. Even my local natural grocery is RWNJ run. I do local/blue when I can but there ain't much here and I'm just polluting the air more when I drive around.)
For pet stuff, PetSmart is a good alternative to online ordering, if you are in a place that has them. They'll usually cost more but you can talk to a human and get what you need right away, and be sure it is the right thing. If you're lucky, you're item will be on sale.
