...at the FDR historic site last time we visited.

His BP was through the roof. He was already dying when he ran for the the 4th term, but I think he just wanted to stay through the end of the war.

He was a great President, and his choice of Truman for VP, as unexpected as it was, proved to be wise although no one knew it the time. He should be subject to criticism, however, for not including Truman in important meetings, or holding briefings with him. Truman rose to the occasion but it was dicey.
