12. Streaming has put a major dent into the theater business, to be sure.

Box office tallies prior to the pandemic were closing in on $12B, but since they've only rebounded to about $8B. People just got in the habit of not going to the theater, and with streaming it's too easy to say, "Meh, I'll skip the theater and wait and see if it comes to one of my services." But, I still enjoy going, and I probably will until I depart or the doors close whichever comes first.
