But no one told me that anyone was "different," not my parents, my grandmother nor my teachers. I mean it's not like anyone is black or white like chess pieces, we're all different. We covered the Civil Rights Movement in 9th grade history class and I found it pretty shocking, especially when I watched "Eyes on the Prize." There was such a struggle and brave people died that it sends me over the edge that, thanks to the bigot-in-chief, we're having to face this again in this country.
