I watch a lot of political coverage on YouTube. And lately I am seeing an increase of support [View all]

for a left-wing populist takeover of the Democratic Party. I am seeing calls for progressive populists to mount primary challenges to unseat leaders like Pelosi and Schumer who represent the old guard and corporate Democrats. Some are saying that left-wing populists should take over the Democratic Party just as Trump has taken over the Republicans. These are people who hate Trump but believe that establishment Democrats will continue to lose to MAGA. But on the other hand a good strong progressive populist could defeat MAGA in 2028.
